Nu Artist: 4tunate
Written by shaunelle campbell

S&S ENTERTAINMENT PRESENTS: 4TUNATE

NSM: Where did your name originate from?

4tunate: Before I discovered my current name 4tunate my
original name was Baby Boy.  I was 17 years old at the time,
I was writing a song. I said the word fortunate and I always
considered myself fortunate because both parents were involved
in my life and supported me.  So, I like the way it sounded and it
stuck to me so I knew it would be the perfect name. I told my
dad and got his opinion, and we spent the rest of the time trying to
come up with a unique spelling.  We figured it had a good ring for
the name so we decided to use the number 4 in the spelling.

NSM:     So how old are you?

4tunate: I am 19 years old; my birthday was on December 25th.

NSM:     How long have you been in the game?

4tunate: I was 10 years old when I first got introduced to writing material,
 producing records, and doing concerts.

NSM: So what city are you representing?

4tunate: I moved around a lot as a kid, so I could never represent one spot
so I represent all of Texas.

NSM:     What do you like to do in your spare time?

4tunate: Since I got into music real deep that is where I spend most of my time.
Besides music, I don’t really get into video games a lot but I love watching
King of the Hill and I like movies.

NSM:     So you are a local artist, where can your fans expect to see you perform?

4tunate:  A lot of my shows take place in the Metroplex, because a lot of the
clubs either get shut down or stop doing the open mic segments. I post information
about my shows on the Facebook.com and Myspace.com/iam4tunate.

NSM:     It is so common in the game for Rap/ R&B beef. What is your outlook?

4tunate: I never take what people say personal because the guy never knows me,
but if the beef is worth it address it. If I do address the beef, I would respond to it
by being bold and clever.  They would look like less of an artist because they hear
the song and don’t know you are talking about them.  Obviously, you must be doing
something right if someone has to do a beef record.  So why entertain the matter.

NSM:     Name artists in the game that you look up to?

4tunate: I like Wayne of course because I like Wayne’s mind set, Busta Rhymes,
Drake, and Lupe Fiasco.

NSM:     Who do you look forward to working with in the game?

4tunate: I would like to work with Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliot, because they don’t
get the credit they deserve. Their styles are different and if you listen to their records
you can hear that they are in there own lanes.
I know no one can imitate my style if so they will look stupid.

NSM:     So the south is considered as the snap your finger genre of music?
How do you view your music?
What makes it different?

4tunate: Because I moved around a lot, I saw a variety of things as a kid.
I am versatile so I feel that I can’t sound like Texas artist although I was
born in Texas.  I want to reach the country so I do the Rock and R&B
and don’t want to be limited to just the state of Texas.

NSM:     The ladies will inquire are you dating or looking for a special lady?

4tunate: I am dating and she is real good to me.

NSM:     Do you have any words of wisdom or shout outs?

4tunate: Anybody trying to make it in the game be patient, don’t rush.
Make sure that you learnyour craft and master your craft.  Learn the business
part of the game, there is more music than just recording.

~ I want to give shout outs to my managers Big Steve and Kim Archie, they are my team.

~ Shout out my little brother, who one day will be my future assistant manager

~Shout out to Michael Brown and his older brother Jerry that has been around since childhood.

Mike Tyson Not Charged In Paparazzi Scuffle

(AllHipHop News) The city attorney's office has opted not to charge
former boxing champion Mike Tyson has with any crime in a November
scuffle at Los Angeles International Airport.

Representatives for Tyson told AllHipHop.com in a statement that the
decision was a positive step forward for the pugilist and other celebrities as well.

"The city attorney's office made the right decision, given the harassing conduct
of the paparazzi who persisted in his aggressive pursuit of Mr. Tyson, even after
being ordered by airport security personnel to leave him alone," said Shawn
Chapman Holley, Esq., an attorney for Tyson. "The City Attorney's decision today
is a small victory for those who continue to be harassed, annoyed and even
stalked by the paparazzi."

On Nov. 11, Tony Echeverria, a photographer, apparently hit Mike Tyson in an
effort to provoke him into doing something newsworthy. Echeverria claims Tyson
punched him in the face and then took his film.

Both were arrested as a result. Tyson was booked and release, but Echeverria
went to the hospital for his injuries.

One spokesperson for the city attorney's office said there simply wasn't enough in
the case to charge either man.

“We took a look at the evidence and concluded that there was insufficient evidence
that either party was at fault beyond a reasonable doubt,” said Frank Mateljan,
spokesman for the city attorney's office. “It didn’t rise to the level of filing a charge.”

Is Flip The Deadbeat??? When Baby Moms Attack

Is this another baby mother looking for attention or is Flip f***ing up???
Flips baby mother recently wrote about the sorry excuse for a Christmas
Flip provided for his kids and how he's never in their lives. 3 sides to every
story folks (his, hers and the truth)...but if hers is anything close to the truth
you got some 'splaynin to do Flip.

"Wesley Weston aka Lil Flip and I have a 4 year old son together...
Wesley (LilFlip) and I were together for about 6 and a half years.
When we first started dating I had a 2 year old daughter that he raised
as his own (she called him daddy and everything), because her real father
has never been in her life. Well back in January of 2009 I decided to end our
very volatile relationship...jumping forward to December of 09, he has only
talked to my children maybe 5 times this year, and thats because I’ve called him!
He didn’t even call on Christmas nor did he get his ONLY son anything! He did not
get his son anything for his birthday in June, and didn’t call him either. No call on
Thanksgiving as well. So yesterday on Christmas, around 8pm at night he sends me
a text message that said “Wow it’s 8 o’clock and you still haven’t had my son call
me, great mothering skills” then went on to say that I was ungrateful, and money
hungry, because I had previously asked him for a little extra money on top of the
little $500 he pays a month for child support to do some Christmas shopping.
He sent me $150 through western union THE DAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS knowing
his son needed winter clothes and shoes!!! And as if that weren’t bad enough, this
pompous a**hole sent my 9 year old daughter (who she refers to as daddy) a
text message that said and I quote “By the way I'm not your real dad, just so you’ll
know the truth!” on Christmas night! So I feel I have  no choice but to put his sorry
a** on blast. I really don’t want to exploit my children, but I want people to know
how arrogant and evil this man is...he basically ruined my daughters Christmas,
and I am beyond pissed!"
